What is an estimate?

An estimate is a document that outlines how much a seller expects to charge a buyer for goods and/or services. Once the goods and/or services have been provided, the seller can charge more or less than the initial estimate.
An estimate should include the following information:
1. Your company name, address, and contact information
2. The customer’s company name and address
3. Date of the estimate
4. Description of the product and/or service to be provided
5. The amount(s) being charged
6. Sales Tax amount if applicable
7. The total estimated amount
